How Much of Your Time Will Be Involved

Moji Cinema • 8 December 2022

As is true with most creative endeavors, filmmaking is a very collaborative process. This means that a certain amount of your time will be required for your video to be as successful as possible. The amount of your involvement will vary from project to project, but it’s safe to say that you will have to meet certain obligations to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.

Initial Story Brand Video Production Steps

The first commitment begins with a storyline workshop where we meet with key decision-makers and uncover all pertinent details related to your project. This is usually a 1to2-hour meeting where we brainstorm and devise a strategy for the best approach to take going forward. Once you sign off on the most suitable approach, we will give you homework to complete before filming begins.

If we’re going to be creating a branding video, we will ask you to gather old photos, videos, and other artifacts that are relevant to the story of your organization. If we’re creating a training video, we will ask you to come up with a script that captures all of the rules, processes, and values that a potential employee must adhere to in order to become an asset to your company. As you can see, depending on the scope of the project, your obligations will differ, but it’s imperative that you complete your tasks in a timely fashion to keep the project moving forward.

Now that we have a strong direction for your video, we need your help preparing for the filming day/days. It will be up to all of us to coordinate schedules, but we ask that you do whatever’s necessary on your end to be prepared so we can film as efficiently as possible on the day. This means planning ahead with your employees or customers and making sure they are available for the allotted amount of time necessary to complete filming. Also, if there are any potential limitations regarding the environment in which we are going to shoot, please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly.

Filming Your Video

Once all of the pre-production is complete, it’s time to begin filming. This process could take anywhere from 4 hours to multiple days, depending on the complexity of your video. It’s highly unlikely that we will need your involvement for the entire shoot, but be sure to communicate with us beforehand to avoid any potential issues that may arise. It’s always a safe bet to clear or minimize your schedule during days of filming so that we have your full, undivided attention.

After all filming is complete, it’s our turn to get to work in the editing room. We will work our magic and put together a rough cut that we will send to you electronically to review with all key decision-makers. We recognize that your time is valuable, as is ours, so we ask that you give us any feedback within oneweek’s time to keep the ball rolling. If you have any issues with that timeline, reach out to us and let us know so we’re all on the same page.

As you can see, we’ll need your help in order to create a successful video. But remember, this is a collaborative effort, and we will do whatever we can on our end to minimize any unnecessary stress. We want this to be a fun process that you will enjoy every step of the way, so let’s work together to create a powerful video that you will be proud to share with the world!

Calculating the lifetime value of a client gives you a framework for knowing how much you should be willing to spend to acquire one. Here is an equation you can use. For Example if the average sale for a company was $100 and the average number of trans-actions that customer spent each year was 3 and that customer stayed with the company was 5 years, the LVT would be $100 x 3 x 5 = $1500. If the gross profit margin for that client was 50%, the Customer lifetime value would be $1,500 x 50% = $750. Knowing that a client is worth $750 will give you an idea of how much you would be willing to spend to acquire that client. Knowing these numbers will help you make better advertising decisions. In this podcast episode, join me, Paul Jew, as I delve into the journey that led me from a professional photography background to the realm of video production. Embarking on this path, I founded Moji Studios back in the early 2000s, eventually pivoting towards video production about a decade ago. Along this transformative journey, I discovered a profound passion for storytelling, reveling in the art of crafting compelling narratives through video content for both companies and nonprofits alike. My focus primarily revolves around championing locally owned businesses in the vibrant community of Albuquerque. Through an initiative I spearheaded called ABQ Iconic, I've made it my mission to illuminate the narratives of these businesses, bringing their stories to life through the power of video. In the realm of marketing, I've adopted a multifaceted approach, leveraging platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, alongside strategic email campaigns. However, what truly sets our marketing strategy apart is our integration of cutting-edge artificial intelligence tools. These tools enable us to meticulously craft audience personas for our clients, empowering us to tailor our content and campaigns with unparalleled precision. Throughout our conversation, I delve into the transformative impact of these AI tools on our marketing strategies. From generating comprehensive reports to boosting conversion rates, these tools have proven to be invaluable assets in our arsenal. In today's digital landscape, capturing and retaining attention is paramount. I discuss how our company is at the forefront of crafting content that not only captivates but also "hijacks" attention in an age of endless distractions. Yet, despite the undeniable benefits, I acknowledge the challenges we face in convincing clients of the importance of consistent content creation. Educating them about the long-term value of ongoing marketing efforts is key, and it's a task we undertake with zeal and determination. Ultimately, our approach at Moji Cinema is rooted in delivering tangible results and a robust return on investment for our clients. Join me as I unpack the nuances of our journey and the strategies that drive our success in the dynamic world of video production and marketing. https://www.creativesgrabcoffee.com/ https://www.lapseproductions.com/
